The Hamilton Hawkeyes JV team fell to the Allendale Falcons with a score of 43-39. This changed their record to 4-12. The Hawkeye’s top scorer was London Cooper with 7 points. The Falcon’s top scorer was Jack Height scoring 15 points to lead the Falcons to victory. The Hawkeyes started the game off slow and ended the first

quarter with a score of 6-14. The Hawkeyes gained some momentum in the second quarter but it wasn't enough, going into halftime with the Falcons up, 16-23. The Hawkeyes went into halftime down by 7 and they had to figure out a way to try and fight back. Unfortunately, the Hawkeyes couldn’t figure out a solid plan and ended the third quarter losing to the Falcons with a score of 25-33. The Hawkeyes came into the fourth quarter with a will to win and they went on a small run to try and come back. Unfortunately, it was too late in the game and the Falcons ended up winning with a score of 43-39.

A contributor to this game was Austin Vanderkamp, and here are his thoughts on the game: “We had our highs and also our lows but at the end of the season we have improved tremendously”. Come out and support them at their next game against the Fruitport Trojans On Thursday, February 17.
