The Hamilton Hawkeyes defeated The Fruitport Trojans and the Muskegon Big Reds in a double dual. They defeated Muskegon with a score of 83-0 and the Trojans with a score of 66-12.
“I feel good about my match, I think I am gonna win, and I think my team's gonna win” Said Remington Foster before he pinned his opponent in the first period vs Fruitport and Muskegon.
This Double dual was Coach Gregg Stoel’s last home meet and his 600th team win. It also set Hamilton's season record to 22-0.
Hamilton's next meet is the Jenison Invitational on Saturday, January 22.
Winning their matches vs Fruitport were Matthew Fales, Ethan Goodwin, Micheal Olsen, Jacob Chase, Eli Ramsey, Brandon Olsen, Wyatt Buus, Jacob Kaylor, Mitch Vanklompenberg, Dakota Meekhof, Remy Foster, Isaac Sternberg.
Winning their matches vs Muskegon were Ethan Goodwin, Matthew Fales, Jacob Chase, Micheal Olsen, Brandon Olsen, Wyatt Buus, Jacob Kaylor, Bryce Tucker, Mitch Vanklompenberg, Remy Foster, Dakota Meekhof, Issac Sternberg, Shane Dams.
