Hamilton Volleyball Battles it out against the Falcons


The Hamilton vs Allendale game was a hard fought game won by the Hawkeyes. The game went into four matches: 12-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-16. The game took place at Allendale. The first game line up had a lot of new starters and not many old starters and lots of girls playing new positions. In the first set the starting six did not switch. They started off strong but they just couldn't finish and struggled to keep playing but did well for a brand new rotation. The first set ended 12-25.

In the second set the rotation started as the original one with original starters with their strong outside and middles. Hamilton's defense was on a roll with all the attacks and blocks. The set ended 25-17 and had a five point serving run.

For the third set, Hamilton was on a roll and ended with 25-14 to win two sets in a row, win the fourth, and go home. They had some amazing blocks and their defense was awesome. The ball rarely touched the floor.

In the fourth set, we won. The Falcons offense was very aggressive and swung very hard. Hamilton had very aggressive serving and their bench brought the energy to help out the team. Allendale got very frustrated and disoriented and struggled to finish strong. The fourth set ended with a score of 25-16.
