Wrapping Up the Swim Season

Grace Ludema has had an amazing season so far, qualifying for state in multiple events. Two weeks ago at the OK Rainbow Conference meet, Grace placed 3rd in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.27, and 3rd in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 55.19. While talking to Grace, she said that this year has been one of the best so far in her high school career. She has trained hard over the past few months, and she is excited to see how much she will improve in her individual swims after tapering.

Grace also swam in two relays at conference that qualified for state. The medley relay along with Emma DenUyl, Jocelyn Borg and Lydia Lucas, got 2nd place (1:57.71) and the 400 free relay with Grace Langeland, Emma DenUyl, and Addie Grabinski (3:54.89) which got 6th in the finals. Grace said, “Personally I am excited to see what our relays can do at state. Many of the girls have improved over the season and I am super proud of all of them."
