After the game, Megan Williams (#10) said “Even when the team is missing shots we try our best to stay positive and energized.” After halftime the Hawkeyes did better on defense and only let up 6 points. The Hawkeyes ended up scoring 21 points. Taylor Vanderzwaag (#12) scored 7 points in this quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Hawkeyes scored 13 points and the Broncos finally got some momentum going scoring 8 points, but they were too late. The final score was 61-16.
